I browsed through my photos of roses, and knew that for this a rose bud wouldn’t do; it needed to be a rose in full bloom.
There were a couple of choices, but the one that stood out was the rose with the group of three leaves. The leaves would be pointing towards the center, towards the message, or monogram.
I painted the wide black border. I painted the rose separately so I could paint it large and get better detail, and not have to worry about the black. It would be more impressive this way.
The black was drying and I worked more on the rose.
I fine tuned the edges of the black.
I added highlights and shading to the rose, and highlights, details and darkening to the leaves.
Aaah, at last, the two creations were to come together, united with the aid of technology, my computer.
One rose painted, previously measured out and angled so that the leaves would point center when turned in the corners. And so it was, with a click of the mouse, a new copy of the rose is made and the image turned. Four times, and sized to fit just so.
It is done, and now ready for you; for your wedding invitations or for whatever you would have it to be.

I decided to add some more outline designs that can be colored in. I initially went hunting through my photographs for a picture of a monkey. Instead, I found a camel, an elephant, and a rhinoceros. So far, I finished the camel.
I think coloring in designs are fun. As a kid, I used to color in pre-printed designs on table cloths. Today, I try to pass along that creativity to others.
Color in shirts also make a fun group and/or birthday party activity.

Last year we purchased a Larson ScreenAway Storm Door; it has not only been an added convenience, it has also been beneficial in energy savings as well.
We used to have a storm door where the window had to be removed and stored, and replaced the window with a screen. I used to wait for what would seem like the most opportune time of the year to make the change, but I eventually just stopped changing it out. But then we purchased a Larson ScreenAway Storm Door and we were blessed with being able to enjoy warm breezes after the first frost by opening the screen part, and to shut out the cold night time air by closing the screen part.
Not only is the retractable screen storm door easy to use, it has cut down on our air conditioning and heating use. Since we can more easily take advantage of the pleasant temperatures outside, no matter what time of year it is, day or night, we’re using less electricity to heat and cool the house.
Check out the Larson ScreenAway Storm Door on Amazon.

The special photo of the engaged couple for their wedding announcements, invitations. The married couple celebrating their anniversary. The happy senior when they are ready to retire, and more. Here on add your photo stamps on Squidoo are a selection of frames to choose from that are already on the stamps.
